The Original Orange Crate for sale

How's that for your chance to own a piece of hot rod history?  The original "Orange Crate" is for sale in un-restored condition.  Imagine owning a period correct hot rod with it's original, un-restored paint, chrome, etc. .

I've always loved this car.  It was on the cover of the February, 1962 issue of "Hot Rod" magazine.  It was one of the best selling model kits from Revel.

The Crawford/Stroner '32 Roadster

Built by Ken Crawford and Jerry Stroner, this 1932 Ford roadster is another dry lakes race car that was lost, then found. . . then (thankfully) restored. The car first appeared in the 1947 issue of "Look Magazine" in a feature titled "Hot Rod Racing in California", the author of this story discovered the car through a recommendation from none other than Wally Parks.

The car was built in 1946, raced in '47. . .

Happy Birthday Ed "Big Daddy" Roth
